- Researched the infrastructural and spatial demands of Caltrans’ fleet electrification alongside PhD candidate Michael Montilla. Conducted comparative and statistical analyses of policies, administrative structures, and practices across states and countries to understand what leads to greater EV adoption in government fleets.
- Analyzed Caltrans vehicle telematics (GPS) data to statistically assess EV fleet charging behaviors and usage of chargers at fleet depots using mobility trajectory models and principal component analysis. Paper forthcoming in 2026.

- Collaborate with lawyers, policymakers, and advocates to support the Climate Justice and Worker Safety Act (previously AB-2499, Gipson 2026), which requires publicly accessible interior temperature monitoring in state prisons. Findings on heat effects of per-facility building infrastructure directly informed the coalition’s messaging and contributed to the bill’s progress through appropriations into the California Senate.
- Built data pipelines using Python web scraping, API workflows, and Claude AI to collect and structure previously inaccessible prison climate and health data from CDCR Power BI dashboards, state PDFs, and agency databases across all 31 CDCR state prisons.
